ROCKINGHORSE CHILDREN'S CHARITY the official fundraising arm of the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital in Brighton. Raising money to provide live-saving medical equipment and additional services with the aim of improving the lives of sick children throughout Sussex. HEADWRAPPERS provide a free service to anyone experiencing hair loss as a result of cancer treatment. HeadWrappers’ aim is to provide free advice and support for clients by showing them that there are alternatives to wigs. The trained hair loss advisors show some simple but effective methods of tying scarves. Each HeadWrappers client also receives a free goodie bag containing 100% cotton HeadWrappers scarf and other accessories. Advice on scalp and hair care before, during and after cancer treatment is also provided. HAIR REBORN is a charity providing support, advice and a free hair styling service for people suffering hair loss as a result of cancer chemotherapy treatment. Services include a support line providing reassurance and advice on an individual and personal level, helping patients to prepare and feel more confident going through their hair loss journey, and a FREE in-salon programme offering up to 3 appointments at a HAIR REBORN appointed salon, enabling those post chemo to achieve a new healthy manageable hairstyle and regain their confidence and self-esteem as their hair grows back.
